To remove by selecting an undesirable article such as carbon paper or the like becoming an obstacle in order to reuse paper applied to a shredder by providing a function wherein the paper is discriminated by classification before cutting treatment, and the classification is carried out automatically after cutting.
A transfer means 4 equipped with a tray 2 receiving paper 1 to be cut and a roller for transferring sheet by sheet the paper is provided to an upper part of a main body. Further, a selection means 5 for selecting a kind of the paper 1 is provided to a rear stage of the transfer means 4, and a cutting means 6 for cutting the paper 1 and an assorting means 7 for classifying the paper 1 according to an output of the selection means 5 are provided to the next stage. A plurality of receiving parts 8A, 8B for receiving classified paper 1 are provided to the lowest stage, and a full-detecting means 9 for detecting that the receiving part is full by paper is provided to its upper part. Then, when either of respective receiving parts 8A or 8B is full, information is executed so that mixing of the paper 1 is not generated, and cutting is stopped. Thereby, carbon paper or the like becoming an undesirable article when the paper is reused, is removed by selection.
