Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder wherein at a normal shredding, a cross cutting rotation cutter rotates normally and when a reverse rotation is automatically effected at an overload shredding, the cross cutting rotation cutter is not reversely rotated, but only a vertical cutting dis-shaped cutter is reversely rotated to eliminate the displacement of a cross cutting fixed cutter due to the reverse rotation of the cross cutting rotation cutter, thereby improving shredding efficiency, so that the life of the cross cutting rotation cutter can be extended by several times in comparison with a conventional one.
SOLUTION: The shredder comprises a vertical shredding part wherein cutter blocks 16, in pairs, each including a plurality of vertical cutting disk-shaped cutters are combined to vertically cut a material P to be shredded and a cross shredding part which has a cross cutting rotation cutter 18 and a cross cutting fixed cutter 17 to finely cut crosswise the vertically shredded material P, wherein the cross cutting rotation cutter 18 is prevented from rotating reversely.
