Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the coiling round phenomenon of shredded waste and to aim at improvement in durability, noise suppression, the reduction of a manufacturing cost, etc., by limiting the behavior of the shredded waste and dropping the produced shredded waste to a waste box smoothly.
SOLUTION: A shredder is provided with a cutter unit 10 for shredding paper sheets P by rotation. The cutter unit 10 is provided with cutter shafts 1 arranged in parallel to each other, a plurality of cutters 11 arranged with an interval in the axial direction of each cutter shaft 1, and separators S which releases shredded waste P1 from the cutters. The separators S are arranged between the cutters 11 respectively, mating faces 12a and 12b having clearance in the circumferential direction of the cutter shafts 1 and formed for each separator S, and a prevention means 13 which prevents shredded waste P1 from entering to the cutter shaft side is provided between the mating faces.
