The shredding treatment facility 10 comprises a shredder 11 for shredding wastes introduced from an introduction inlet 16 and discharging them from a discharge outlet 18, a separation apparatus 12 for introducing a gas mixed with shredded matter discharged out of the discharge outlet 18 and separating solid matter and gas corresponding to the specific gravity difference, and a gas suction apparatus 13 for generating negative pressure in the separation apparatus 12 for introducing the shredded matter discharged out of the shredder 11 together with the gas into the separation apparatus 12. The discharge outlet 18 of the shredder 11 and a suction port 23 of the separation apparatus 12 are connected by a duct 14 and a discharge port 24 of the separation apparatus 12 and a suction port 31 of the gas suction apparatus 13 are connected by a duct 15.
