Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a film which can be decomposed into harmless water and carbon dioxide in a relatively short period in the environment in a similar manner as natural products such as paper and wood when discarded in the sea and rivers or dumped under the ground as waste.
CONSTITUTION: A shrink film for labels is prepared from a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising polylactic acid or a copolymer of lactic acid and other hydroxycarboxylic acids as a main component.
