To provide a light shielding shrink label which prevents a beverage in a container from being influenced by light rays and facilitates the recycling of the container.
In the cylindrical shrink label 28 for container made of a shrink film 10 having light shielding property and heat shrinkage, a tongue part 22 continuously extending in the barrel length direction of a cylinder is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder, the part overlapping with the tongue part 22 among the cylindrical part is made to be a perforation forming area 24 and a group of holes 26 of the perforation continuing in the barrel length direction is formed within the perforation forming area 24. All of the side surface of the container 30 excepting at least a plug 32 in the container 30 of which the opening part is closed by the plug 32 is covered with the shrink label 28 for container.
