To sharply photograph a main subject along with a background in spite of having a simple and low-priced constitution.
In the camera, a photographic lens whose focal distance is 30 mm is used, and a focus position is set to 2 m. A small diaphragm aperture 59 of F11 is previously formed by two shutter blades 57 and 58, and is shielded by a light shielding plate 54. When a release operation is performed in a state where a subject distance is about 2 m, a kicking lever 49 rotates a turning lever 50 in a normal direction and a light shielding driving lever 54 is turned counterclockwise, and a light shielding plate 61 opens the aperture 59. Then a synchro switch 37 is turned on so that electronic flash light is emitted and a sharp image is exposed. Subsequently, the blades 57 and 58 are opened so that the open diaphragm aperture 55a of F4 is opened, whereby the background which the electronic flash light does not reach is photographed. Thereafter, the lever 50 is reversely rotated to close the aperture 55a.
