The shutter device is provided with a front blade 10 energized by a spring to a closing position where it closes an exposure aperture 4 and a rear blade 11 energized by a spring to an opening position where it opens the aperture 4. In a stage where a shutter driving lever 7 moves in one direction, it successively kicks the blades 10 and 11. The aperture 4 is closed by the blade 11 after it is opened by the blade 10, and it is closed by the blade 10 energized by the spring and restored before it starts to be opened while the blade 11 is energized by the spring and restored. When the blades 10 and 11 are energized by the spring and restored, they are restored in a state where they are partially superposed on each other.
