Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a shutter device which is low in cost and has good shutter accuracy by using a mechanical shutter and a liquid crystal shutter which attains a light transmission state and non-transmission state by on and off of applied voltages. CONSTITUTION:The on and off of the voltages to be applied to respective liquid crystal cells 21a-21e are respectively independently controlled, by which the exposure to a photosensitive film 17 is limited and the cells are acted as a stop. A shutter function is obtd. by controlling the on and off time of the applied voltages of this time, by which the exposing time to the photosensitive film 17 is controlled with high accuracy. The mechanical shutter 6 is, therefore, not required to be a costly shutter controlled in shutter accuracy with high accuracy and may be a mass-produced shutter having the shutter accuracy of an ordinary level. The shutter device which is low in cost and has the good shutter accuracy is thus obtd.
