To provide a shutter unit capable of exposure movement in reciprocation directions and achieving stable and high speed operation.SOLUTION: A shutter unit (113) comprises: a shutter base plate (1) formed with an opening; light shielding members (2 and 3) configured to reciprocate between a closed state in which the opening is closed and an open state in which the opening is opened; a motor (20); cam members (14 and 15) for moving the light shielding members by rotating being driven by the motor; and regulation members (23 and 24) for regulating the rotation of the cam members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
