A casing 3 of the synthetic substance-made shuttle 1 is equipped with a metal-made insert 23 and a metal-made shuttle-driving part 33 above the insert 23. The insert 23 and the shuttle-driving part 33 are connected to each other through a web 37. This insert 23 has not only a surface part but also the edges 31 linking to the insert and forming a bottom part 29 at the lower part. The insert 23 and the shuttle-driving part 33 are embedded in a synthetic material part, when the casing 3 is formed and fitted by adhesion or by welding.
