Abstract:
A side view type light emitting diode comprising: a pair of lead frames (111'); a reflector (120') surrounding the lead frames (111') and comprising a groove (125') open in an upward direction and a wall (121') surrounding the groove (125'); an LED chip (130') mounted in the groove (125') and electrically connected by wire bonding to the lead frame (111'); and a lens part (137') filled in the groove (125'), wherein the height (h 2 ) of the wall (121') is 0.25 to 0.35 mm.
