Abstract:
To provide a side part structure of a multi-cylinder engine capable of suppressing breakage of a fuel pump and the like upon vehicle front collision while certainly fixing an intake manifold to a multi-cylinder engine.SOLUTION: In an engine room of a vehicle, a multi-cylinder engine is vertically mounted. To a left side surface of the multi-cylinder engine, an intake manifold 11, an EGR cooler 12, and a high-pressure fuel pump are attached. The intake manifold 11 is arranged that an end portion of an upper wall formed with a runner inside is attached to a cylinder head of the multi-cylinder engine and projects out to a left side from the attached part. To an upper part of the intake manifold 11, an EGR valve 15 is attached. To the EGR valve 15, an EGR pipe 16 connected by a pipe connecting portion 12b of the EGR cooler 12 is connected from an upper side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
