Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sufficiently reinforce tubular side elements by corner joint elements having protrusions engaged with heddle rods in side supports for a heddle frame.
CONSTITUTION: In the side supports for the heddle frame having the tubular side elements 3 having a rectangular cross section and two corner joint elements 4, 4' having the protrusions 8, 8' engaged with the heddle rods, the respective corner joint elements 4, 4' are inserted into longitudinal slits provided at ends of the tubular side elements 3, and fixed parts of the joint elements 4, 4' extend toward the center of the tubular side elements 3 beyond the length of the longitudinal slits.
