Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent incomplete wipe of washer liquid and ensure sufficient side view by operating a side washer to eject washing liquid if a side wiper blade is in the position upper than the specified position when a side window washer switch is turned on. CONSTITUTION:A side wiper blade 1a is laid along the external face of a side window glass 2 via a side wiper arm 1b as said blade 1a is able to move up and down or swing, and a side window washer from which washer liquid is ejected is mounted at the outside of the glass 2. When a side window washer switch is turned on, the position of the side wiper blade is detected and if the position is higher than the specified position, washer liquid is ejected. The ejected washer liquid is wiped off by a lowering wiper blade so that clear side view may be ensured without remaining washer liquid drops on the external surface of the window glass.
