To measure frequency characteristics with high accuracy for a signal analyzing system.
A signal processing system measures the frequency characteristics of a signal (a) to be measured consisting of a plurality of sub-carriers 2 with an incorporated band-pass filter 10, arranged at a fixed frequency interval ΔF. Therein, the measurement of the frequency characteristics of the signal to be measured is performed by a mode set with the frequency of the band-pass filter as a reference frequency, and a mode shifted by the frequency of the integral multiple of the frequency interval of the sub-carriers from the reference frequency. Then the frequency characteristics of the band-pass filter are calculated from the both measurement results. The correction factor to each frequency of the band-pass filter is calculated from these frequency characteristics. Then, the frequency characteristics of the signal are corrected by using each correction factor.
