A plurality of first and second transfer electrodes 71, 72 are arranged alternately in the column direction closely to the opposite edge parts of a light receiving/charge transferring section in the row direction thereof. The plurality of transfer electrodes 71 are connected in common by a first connection electrode 73 extending in the column direction along the right edge part and the plurality of transfer electrodes 72 are connected in common by a second connection electrode 74 extending in the column direction along the left edge part. A first bus line 52 connects the first connection electrode 73 electrically with the transfer electrode 71 at a contact part 75R. A second bus line 54 connects the common electrode 74 electrically with the transfer electrode 72 at a contact part 76L.
