To provide the signal device which can catch an electronic sound generated by equipment and notifies a user of the electronic sound in easy-to- recognize form.

An arbitrary position nearby equipment 10 such as a home electric product, a sound pressure pickup 2 which has a microphone inside is arranged, a trigger signal generating circuit 3 is connected to the sound pressure pickup 2, and a regenerating circuit 4 is connected to a trigger signal generating circuit 3; and an analog signal amplifying circuit 6 is connected to the regenerating circuit 4, and a sound reinforcing device 7 is connected to the analog signal amplifying circuit 6. Further, a memory device 5 where a digital speech signal is recorded is connected to the regenerating circuit 4. Once the sound pressure pickup 2 catches the electronic sound generated by the equipment 10, the trigger generating circuit 3 generates a trigger signal, with which the speech signal recorded in the memory device 5 is D/A-converted by the regenerating circuit 4; and the D/A-converted speech signal is reproduced by the sound reinforcing device 7 through the analog signal amplifying circuit 6.
