Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate accurately a desired signal in response to an input clock signal.
SOLUTION: A charge/discharge control circuit 1 inputs a clock signal SK with a same frequency as that of a triangle wave signal and an outputs a signal SK2 controlling charging/discharging. A charge/discharge current generating circuit 2 input the clock signal SK2 to charge/discharge a capacitor C1. A triangle wave signal generated from the capacitor C1 through charge/discharge is outputted as a triangle wave signal TR1 via a buffer 4. A charge/discharge switching timing generating circuit 5 gives a charge/discharge switching signal SK1 to a charge/discharge changeover control circuit 1 based on reference voltages V1, V2 to detect an upper apex voltage of the TRI. A lower apex limit circuit 3 gives a current signal to limit a lower apex voltage of the TRI to the capacitor C1 based on a reference voltage V4 to detect the lower apex voltage of the TRI.
