To provide a signal processing apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and a signal processing program for highly accurately displaying information with respect to a high frequency signal component of an image included in a video signal even on a monitor or the like with a low resolution.
The problem above is solved by a signal processing apparatus for extracting information with respect to the high frequency signal component of the image included in an input video signal and superimposing the extracted information on the video signal that includes: a division means for dividing the image in the unit of preset pixel blocks; a high frequency signal component amount extract means for extracting the high frequency signal component by each pixel block obtained by the division means and setting a representative value by each block from the extracted high frequency signal component; and a superimposing means for superimposing the representative value information obtained from the high frequency signal component amount extract means on the video signal.
