Abstract:

To properly reproduce signal components having a minute level equivalent to or less than the level of quantization noise while reducing the noise from digital audio signals.

The device is provided with a tonal component estimating section 35 which estimates present tonal components based on the tonal components of the past stored in a tonal component storage section 34, an attenuation computing section 36, an adding section 39, a difference computing section 40 which obtains the difference between the adding result of the section 39 and the frequency axis components from an FFT section 31, an inverse FFT section 41 which applies inverse FFT transformation to the difference result from the section 40, a window framing process section 42 which conducts a prescribed window framing to the time axis components that are transformed by the section 41, and a synthesizing section 43 that synthesizes the time axis components, which are window frame processed by the section 42, in the direction, in which quantization noise is eliminated, against the input signals that are delayed by a prescribed time by a delaying section 45.
