Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable finish learning in a short time and to allow a hardware scale to be only moderate by forming a neural circuit network, which searches for the certainty of the arrival direction of a radio wave signal as a value of a different angle direction from plural neural circuit networks which define their parts according to each different, narrow and specific arriving direction.
SOLUTION: A preprocessor 20 performs a prescribed operation to time series signals that are sent from antenna elements 11 to 17 (18) and sends eight operation results as input vectors, which change in dependence upon the arrival direction of a radio wave signal to a neural circuit network 30. Each unit neural circuit network 301 to 336 learns to take charge of decision processing of the arrival direction of radio waves about 10° range of a prescribed direction which is separately different, and thirty-six unit neural circuit networks 301 to 336 correspond so as to cover 360° in all the directions. Thereby, a structure is simple, learning is easy and it takes only a short time for time that is necessary for learning. It is possible to reduce the hardware scale that forms the network 30.
