PURPOSE: To provide a signal receiving device for position measuring, with which the acceptability of the accuracy of the output from measuring is displayed.
CONSTITUTION: A signal receiving device for position measuring is equipped with a receiving position measuring part 2, which is mounted on a moving body, catches selectively the electric waves from a plurality of GPS satellites, and measures the position, running speed, and azimuth of the moving body. This is further equipped with an accelerometer 3, which is to sense the acceleration of the moving body, and an acceleration judging part 4 to judge if the sensed acceleration is exceeding the specified value corresponding to the acceleration value which demonstrates accuracy degradation of the measuring output from the receiving position measuring part 2. Upon receiving the measuring output and judging output, a measuring data output processing part 5 does not send to a display part 6 the information the measuring output when the acceleration exceeds the specified value, but does the information based on the judging output, or both information based on the judging output and measuring output irrespective of the judging output.
