PURPOSE: To provide the signal transmission equipment which is safe and has the operability improved.
CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a transducer 23 which detects a physical quantity by a sensor circuit 25 to convert it to a corresponding electric signal and transmits this signal to the outside and has a communication window 26 closing a case against a first communication medium and has a communication control circuit 30 which communicates with the sensor circuit 25 through the communication window 26 by the communication signal obtained by a communication means, a probe 35 which is arranged to closely face the communication window 26 and transmits/receives the communication signal by the same communication means, and a handy terminal 41 which sets communication contents of communication with the sensor circuit 25 by a set switch 42 and transmits these communication contents to the probe 35 through a second communication medium 39.
