PURPOSE: To enable special reproduction such as view of a movie from the starting point, a till image, and the reverse winding and fast forwarding of a VTR by operating a terminal.
CONSTITUTION: The plural number of the same signal sequences are transmitted from a signal transmitter 1 at intervals of a certain time, the signal sequences are modulated into individual channels, respectively, and the signal sequences are transmitted from a head end 4 device. A terminal 20 is provided with a channel selecting/demodulating device 10 selecting and demodulating plural channels, a memory 11 in which the demodulated signal sequences are recorded for a fixed time, the writing address generation circuit 13 of the memory 11, the reading address generation circuit 14 of the memory 11, a signal output circuit for outputting the read signal sequence and a control circuit 5 for controlling the signal strings.
