Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a silane crosslinked polyvinyl chloride resin with a high degree of crosslinking, by making a silane crosslinking reaction smoothly proceed, without causing the discoloration or degradation polyvinyl chloride resin.SOLUTION: A method for producing a silane crosslinked polyvinyl chloride resin includes at least the following steps 1, 2, and 3: Step 1 (mixing step): a polyvinyl chloride resin, an organic unsaturated silane, and an organic peroxide with a hydrogen abstraction ability (ε) of 30-60 are mixed to obtain a mixture. Step 2 (heating step): the mixture is heated. Step 3 (condensation step): after the steps 1 and 2, a silanol group is condensed in the presence of a silanol condensation catalyst and moisture.SELECTED DRAWING: None
