Abstract:
To solve the problem that the running-out portion before the principal tapping from a molten metal crucible is tapped into a mold so that a rapidly solidified part is formed on the bottom of the silicon ingot.
In the silicon casting device provided with the melting crucible for melting a silicon raw material to tap from a tap hole of the bottom, and a mold below the melting crucible for solidifying the silicon raw material, a horizontally movable pan is provided between the tap hole of the melting crucible and the mold.
