Title:
SILICON STEEL SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT MAGNETIC PROPERTY AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003277893
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silicon steel sheet in which a high magnetic flux density and a low core loss are combined by efficiently incorporating N of high concentration into a steel sheet having a usually used thickness and efficiently forming a nitride having a specified composition by controlling of steel components and heat history after nitriding.

The silicon steel sheet contains, by mass, 0.05 to 8.0% N. In the production method thereof, 0.05 to 8.0% N is incorporated into the steel sheet by nitriding. Further, a content of Mn is regulated to ≥0.3%. Also, a content of Si is regulated to ≤3.5%, a content Al is regulated to ≤2.0%, and contents of Ti, B or Cr are regulated so as to control the formation of nitrides. Further, the contents of Ni and C are regulated for the purpose of controlling the behavior of transformation in a cooling stage after a heat treatment, so that the special nitride essentially consisting of Fe is formed in the metallic structure.
