PURPOSE: To provide an emulsion for such a useful product as a skin conditioner with stabilized high viscosity, forming a water-in-oil emulsion without use of an org. emulsifier, by compounding an org. oil, water and a specific water dispersible silicone wax.

CONSTITUTION: Used are (A) 5-50 wt.% (referred to as '%' hereinafter) of an org. oil, (B) 44-94.5% of water, and (C) 0.5-5% of an water dispersible silicone wax, the component C being derived from a reaction of an SiH contg. siloxane comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of Me3SiO (MeHSiO)xSiMe3 and Me3SiO(MeHSiO)x(Me2Si)ySiMe3 (wherein Me is methyl; and x and y are each an integer, where x/y is ≥2, x is 20-100 and y is 1-100), a linear 39C org. α-olefin and an unsatd. ethylene oxide polymer having the formula: H2C=CH2-O(CH2CH2O)zH (wherein z is at least 16). The emulsion has a viscosity of ≥100,000 mm2/sec. The component A is a mixture of two org. oils and comprises sodium chloride and/or ammonium chloride at the concn. of ≤1%.
