Title:
SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005283669
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, excellent in graininess and excellent also in latent image preservability.

The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is obtained by coating the top of a support with a blue-sensitive emulsion layer unit, a green-sensitive emulsion layer unit and a red-sensitive emulsion layer unit each comprising at least two or more layers different from each other in sensitivity, wherein the highest sensitivity one of the two or more sensitive emulsion layers contains a silver halide emulsion in which tabular silver halide grains having an average aspect ratio of ≥3 and substantially having dislocation lines occupy ≥50% of the total grain-projected area, and a sensitive emulsion layer other than the highest sensitivity emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion in which ≥70% of the total grain-projected area is occupied by epitaxially grown silver halide grains satisfying the following requirement (a); (a) the silver halide grains consist of tabular silver halide host grains each having two main planes parallel to each other and having an aspect ratio of ≥2 and silver halide protrusions epitaxially bonding to surfaces of the host grains.
