Title:
SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006098864
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, high contrast and excellent suitability to rapid processing and ensuring few after-color staining.

In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having on a support at least one each of red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains a silver halide emulsion having a silver chloride content of ≥90 mol%, silver halide grains in the silver halide emulsion have been spectrally sensitized with a spectral sensitizing dye liable to form aggregates on the silver halide grain surfaces, a non-spectral sensitizing dye substantially having no absorption in the range of 440-700 nm, together with the spectral sensitizing dye, coats the silver halide grain surfaces, and the non-spectral sensitizing dye coats the silver halide grain surfaces in an area ratio of ≥25% with respect to an area where the spectral sensitizing dye coats the silver halide grain surfaces.
