PURPOSE: To provide the silver halide color photographic sensitive material which has a high sensitivity, sharpness, excellent graininess and color reproducibility and particularly excellent storage stability.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains planar silver halide particles having ≥2:1 average aspect ratio into its emulsion layers. In addition, a pyrazoloazole type compd. which releases a group to constitute a development inhibitor or its precursor by coupling reaction with the oxidant of a color developing agent or a group to be the development inhibitor or its precursor by reacting with the oxidant of the developing agent of another one molecule is incorporated into at least one layers of the emulsion layers.
