PURPOSE: To obtain superior image storage stability and image durability by incorporating a specified cyan dyestuff forming coupler in a silver halide emulsion layer and organopolysiloxane in a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer.
CONSTITUTION: At least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one of the cyan dyestuff forming couplers represented by formulae I-IV and at least one of the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer contains at least one kind of organopolysiloxane. In formulae I-IV, R1 is H or the like; R2 is a substituent: Z1 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form an N-containing 5-membered hetero ring optionally condensed with a benzene ring; R3 is H or the like; Z2 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to condense with the pyrazole ring together with the -NH-group to form an N-containing 6-membered hetero ring; each of R4 and R5 is an electron withdrawing group; Z3 is a nonmetallic atomuc group necessary to form an N-containing 5-membered hetero ring; each of R6 and R7 is H or the like; Z4 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form an N-containing 6-membered hetero ring; and X4 is H or the like.
