To provide a positive-positive duplication film which can accurately reproduce an original image by specifying the wavelength for the max. sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity distribution for specified density of each color sensitive layer and specifying the point gamma of the characteristics curve.

In this silver halide color photographic sensitive material, at least one of cyan, magenta and yellow image has ≥3.0 max. density. In the density region of ≥0.3 or ≤2.0, the wavelength λmax (D) for the max. sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity distribution for the density (D) satisfies formulae I to III. The average point gamma ΓC (of a red-sensitive layer), ΓM (of a green- sensitive layer) and ΓY (of a blue-sensitive layer) of the characteristics curve of the respective color sensitive layer in the density region above described satisfy formula IV to VI. The ratio of the max. γmax to the min. γmin of the point gamma of the characteristics curve in the density region for each color sensitive layer satisfies the formula VII.
