CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive material has the photograph constituting layer including at least one high-chloride silver halide emulsion layer on a base and contains the compd. expressed by the formula I in the photograph constituting layer. In the formula, L1WL4 respectively denote a bivalent hydrocarbon group; J1 and J2 respectively denote -O-, -COO-, -CONR1-, -SO2NR1-, -NR1-CO-NR2-, -SO2-, -N=N-, -NR1- or -CO-; Y denotes a hydrogen atom., bivalent coupler or amidino group; Z denotes a heterocyclic group; G denotes a sulfonic acid group, carboxylic group or phosphoric acid group; R1 and R2 denote a hydrogen atom., alkyl group or aryl group; d, l, m, n denote 0W2 integer; p denotes 0W4 integer; q denotes 1W4 integer; r denotes 1W2 integer. However, m denotes 1W2 integer if G is a carboxylic acid and r denotes 2 if Y denotes a bivalent coupler. The rapid processing is thereby enabled and the high sensitivity and low fogging are obtd. in addition, the processing stability is improved.
