Title:
SILVER HALIDE IMAGE FORMING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3241885
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain good image selectivity together with good development latitude by selecting a photosensitive material from specific photothermographic media.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive material of the photosensitive element having a photosensitive medium contg. (a) silver halide and the organoborate salt reactively co-existing therewith is selected from a silver halide photograph emulsions contg. cationic dyes and (b) the photothermographic media contg. reducing silver sources, reducing agents of silver ions and antifoggants in one or more layers. The antifoggants are selected from formula I, etc. The preferable organoborate salt to be used has the nucleus expressed by formula II. In the formula, R1 to R4 denote cyano groups, ≤30c alkyl groups. These groups, cyclic nuclei and fused cyclic nuclei may respectively have substituents selected from ≤5C alkyl groups, ≤10C aryl groups, nitro groups, cyano groups, etc., and M+ denotes cation.
