Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000181037
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve the lightfastness of a dye derived from a cyclic azole dye forming coupler and to enable color rendering performance to be kept for a long period by using a constitution which includes cyclic azole dye forming coupler and a base which supports a photosensitive halide emulsion layer of composite material containing respective composition of stabilizers.

This silver halide photographic element comprises a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a support which holds a composition of the cyclic azole dye forming coupler, and as a stabilizer, the compounds represented by formulae I and II, in which R3 is an alkyl or alkenyl or aryl group; R5 is an alkyl group; R4 and R6 are each a substituent; (m) is an integer of 0-5; (n) is an integer of 0-4; and the compound of the formula I may have 2 or more aryl groups; and the compound of the formula II contributes to stabilization by acting as a single bond oxygen quencher.
