Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EMULSION AND SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3057245
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress deterioration of photographic performance even when the emulsion is stored for long time in a cooled and solidified state by incorporating natural polymer polysaccharide derived from red algae into a silver halide photographic emulsion.
CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic emulsion contains natural polymer polysaccharide derived from red algae, and the silver halide photographic sensitive material uses this silver halide emulsion. The natural polymer polysaccharide derived from red algae is obtd. by extracting and refining red algae, for example, agar κ-carrageenin, #1-carrageenin, τ-carrageen, phaselin, and especially κ-carrageenin, #1-carrageenin, and τ-carrageenin are preferable. Further, the silver halide emulsion containing the natural polymer polysaccharide from red algae is preferably contains gelatin.
