Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000122248
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a photographic sensitive material having high activity for silver development in which formation of images can be completed in a short-time developing process by incorporating a dye-donating compd. having a specified redox mother nucleus with condensed five-member ring.

This material contains a compd. expressed by the formula or the like which can be oxidized. In the formula, R1, R2 are each hydrogen atom or a substd. group and may be mutually the same or different, Q is a group of atoms which are condensed with a benzene ring to form a five-member ring, L is a bonding group, n is 0 or 1, m is 1 or 2, PUG is a photographically useful group, G is hydroxy group or a group which gives NHSO2R3, and R3 is an aliphatic group, aromatic group or the like or -(L)n-(PUG)m. When R3 is -(L)n-(PUG)m, it may be the same as or different from-(L)n-(PUG)m in the formula. With the obtd. material, formation of images can be completed in a short-time developing process and images of high discrimination can be obtd.
