Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING THE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3794602
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure excellent rapid processability and alive preservation stability and to suppress the remaining of a spectral sensitizing dye after processing by using silver halide particles each having a specified silver iodide-contg. layer in the specified surface part and a silver iodide-free layer of a specified thickness on the outside of the silver iodide-contg. layer and incorporating a specified compd. into the emulsion layer.
SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has a photosensitive emulsion layer contg. silver halide particles having ≥95 mol silver chloride content on the substrate. Each of the silver halide particles has a layer contg. 0.1 mol.% silver iodide per 1 mol all silver halides in the surface part outer than 50% of its volume. When a silver iodide-free layer is continuously or discontinuously present on the outside of the silver iodide-contg. layer, the thickness of the silver iodide-free layer is ≤0.002 μm. The emulsion layer contains a compd. represented by the formula, wherein each of Z1 and Z2 is a group of nonmetallic atoms required to complete a benzothiazole ring, each of R1 and R2 is alkyl and M1 is a counter ion required to neutralize an electric charge in each molecule.
