Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01254944
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the silver halide black and white photographic sensitive material which has a high optical density (covering power) per unit amount of developing silver and the excellent color tone of an image silver and is suitable for a rapid processing at a high temp. by incorporating a tabular silver halide particle having a specified shape in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a specified hetero compd. in the constituting layer of a photosensitive material, respectively.

CONSTITUTION: In the black and white photographic sensitive material contg. the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a supporting body, an emulsion particle contd. in the emulsion layer is composed of a tabular particle having an aspect ratio of ≥3 in an amount of ≥70% of the total projected area of the whole of particles, and the compd. shown by formula I is incorporated in at least one layer of the constituting layers contd. in the photographic sensitive material. The constituting layer contg. the compd. may be a silver halide emulsion layer, undercoating layer, protective layer, intermediate layer, filter layer, antihalation layer or any one of another layers. The halogen composition of the tabular silver halide particle has preferably a silver iodide content of ≤10mol%. Thus, the photosensitive material having the high sensitivity and covering power and the preferable color tone is obtd.
