PURPOSE: To provide an antistatic agent not polluting a processing solution by containing an ionene type polymer having specified repeating units.

CONSTITUTION: This photographic sensitive material has on a support at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and contains the ionene type polymer having the repeating units each represented by formula I or II in which each of R1 and R2 is 1-4 C alkyl or -(R3O)n- or R4 and at least one of both has -(R3O)n- group: n is an integer of 1-5: R3 is 2-4 C alkylene; R4 is a univalent group having a ≥7C hydrocarbon group; L1 is a divalent group; each of X1- and X2- is an anion; each of R5 and R6 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl, or alkenvl, but at least one of both is a univalent group having ≥7C hydrocarbon group; L2 is a divalent group; and X3- is an anion.
