Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62172357
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive material superior in color development performance and photostability by incorporating a pyrazolotriazole type magenta coupler and a cyclic ether compound in the photosensitive material composed of silver halide emulsion layers and nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layers.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive material composed of at least one silver halide emulsion layer and at least one nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer contains the pyrazolotriazole type magenta coupler in the silver halide emulsion layer and the cyclic ether compound in this silver halide emulsion layer and/or the nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer. As the cyclic ether compound, the ones each having a 3-W6-membered ring, and one or two oxygen atoms in each ring are used. The presence of said cyclic ether compound and the like permits dispersibility, color development performance, and photostability of the pyrazolotriazole type magenta coupler to be enhanced and packaging of the photosensitive material to be properly made.
