Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10307376
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver halide photosensitive material high in sensitivity/ RMS graininess even in heat development treating and without generating color unevenness and to provide a method for forming an image by using it.

This silver halide photographic sensitive material makes an image form by sticking and heating a photosensitive material having a photosensitive layer containing at least photosensitive silver halide grains, a developing main agent, a compound in which dyestuff is formed by reaction with the oxidation product of the developing agent and a binder and a processing material having a processing layer containing at least a base and/or its basic precursor, after the photosensitive material is exposed, in the presence of water corresponding to 0.1-1.0 times of the amount necessary for swelling the whole coated film to the maximum except the back layers of both the photosensitive material and the processing material. In this case, the photosensitive layer contains a gelatin chemically modified to reduce interaction with silver and contains emultion in which platelike silver halide grains have an aspect ratio of ≥2 and ≥50% of the projection areas of the whole grains are occupied by the silver halide grains.
