Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make Ag-Pd alloy plating possible, by using a solution containing a salt of Ag, a salt of Pd, potassium acid pyrophosphate, and a thiocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A plating liquid is prepared from an aqueous solution containing an Ag salt, a Pd salt, an acid pyrophosphate, and a thiocyanate. The acid pyrophosphate used is dipotassium dihydrogen pyrophosphate which forms a complex compound with a metal, and the addition of a thiocyanate is made with the intention of continuously and stably using the acid pyrophosphate. The thiocyanate, also, forms a complex compound with a metal.
