Title:
SILVER SALT PHOTOTHERMOGRAPHIC DRY IMAGING MATERIAL, SHEETLIKE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007212838
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material excellent in image quality and particularly having high maximum density and excellent sharpness, a sheetlike photosensitive material and an image forming method.

The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has a photosensitive layer containing an organic silver salt, silver halide grains, a binder and a reducing agent on one and the same surface of a support, wherein the photosensitive layer has a dry film thickness of 8.0-16.0 μm and an average gradation (γ value) at an optical density of 1.2 on a photographic characteristic curve being 4.1-6.0, and the reducing agent is a compound represented by formula (RD1), wherein X1represents chalcogen or CHR1, R1represents H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or a heterocyclic group; R2represents alkyl, two symbols R2may be the same or different but at least one of those is secondary or tertiary alkyl; R3represents H or a group substitutable on the corresponding benzene ring; R4represents a group substitutable on the corresponding benzene ring; and m and n each represent an integer of 0-2.
