Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable additional lenses to be attached to ordinary spectacles simply and surely by providing respective guide protrusions at symmetric positions of outer peripheral parts on the ordinary spectacles and providing respective guide holes into which respective guide protrusions are to be guided on the additional lenses.
SOLUTION: Bracket endpieces 14a, 14a to which temples 16 are hinged are fitted to both right and left ends of standard lenses 10, 10 of spectacles 1 in inserted and held states. First magnetic pieces 14, 14 being magnets are provided on these bracket endpieces 14a, 14. Moreover, respective guide protrusions 13, 13 are provided at upper parts of both sides of front surface sides of the standard lenses 10, 10. On the other hand, second magnetic pieces 24, 24 consisting of magnets are provided at positions corresponding to the first magnetic pieces 14, 14, and guide holes 23, 23 into which the guide protrusions 13, 13 are to be guided are also provided at positions corresponding to respective guide protrusions 13, 13 on the outer peripheral parts of addition lenses 20, 20. Thus, the addition lenses 20, 20 are to be attached to the standard lenses 10, 10 by allowing respective first and second magnetic pieces 14, 24 to be attracted with each other while making the guide protrusions 13, 13 to be guidedly inserted into the guide holes 23, 23.
