Title:
SIMPLE FOCUS CONTROLLING MEANS OF CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59185316
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a small-sized, light weight and thin camera by providing a piezo-electric bender having one end part as a fixed end and the other end as a free end to be displaced in the direction along the optical axis of a photographing lens by applying voltage.

CONSTITUTION: The parallel type piezo-electric bender 16 applying pressure between a center metallic plate and a surface piezo-electric element is used for a focus controlling means of the camera. One end of the bender 16 is fixed on a substrate (unshown) by a pressing plate 17 and the other end is located as a free end on a position to be engaged with an engaging step part 13a. One electrode is connected to piezo-electric element members 16b on both the sides and the other electrode is connected to a metallic plate 16c held in the center so that the piezo-electric bender 16 is displaced by closing switches S0, S1 in accordance with a signal inputted from an autofocusing circuit 50. In such a constitution, a small-sized, light weight and thin camera is obtained.
