To provide a simple sinker capable of being readily attached and removing and dealing with fishing of any styles regardless of river fishing and sea fishing due to easy attachment and removal.

This simple sinker comprises a core 1 having a line insertion cut 3 and a sinker 4 c having a sinker insertion cut 5 and a through hole. A fishing line 2 is retained in the line insertion cut 3 or the through hole in an inserted state of the fishing line 2 from both the cuts respectively and the core 1 is inserted into the sink 4 to be attached to the fishing line 2.
