To provide simple slippers which comprise a slipper sole section and a band section molded from a sheet-form expanded body, of which the major component is the paper powder component of used postal cards or a plant powder component, have an excellent wearing feeling, and also, can be incinerat ed as general refuse after usage or the like, and in addition, are gentle for the natural environment.

This simple slipper comprises a slipper sole section 1 and a band section 2. In this case, the slipper sole section 1 is molded from a sheet- form expanded body Ms which is press-formed into a sheet-form with the paper powder component of used postal cards or general used papers, or the plant powder component as the major component. The band section 2 is molded from the sheet-form expanded body Ms, and is fitted on the slipper sole section 1. Then, a reinforcing sewn section 4 is applied on the outer peripheral edge of the slipper sole section 1 and the end edge of the band section 2.
